The 14 day rule
When you buy online in the UK, you normally have 14 days to change your mind. Digital content is different.
When you buy on R6Strats, you get access straight away. At checkout you agree to that and confirm you know it means losing the 14 day right to cancel. Once access starts, that right ends. That's the law for digital content, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
None of this affects your rights if something's wrong with what you bought.
If something's wrong
What you buy must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. That's your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If it isn't, we'll fix it first. If we can't fix it in a reasonable time without causing you real hassle, we'll refund you. The refund can be full or partial, depending on how much of what you bought is affected.
Things that count
- a video that won't play
- a strat that's missing or doesn't match its description
- content you can't get to after paying
Things that don't
- a strat that didn't win you the round
- not ranking up
- deciding you don't like a creator's style
If you've changed your mind
Ask us within 14 days of buying. If you haven't really used what you unlocked, we'll look at it and may refund you anyway.
We decide these case by case. It's on top of your legal rights, not instead of them.
How to ask
Email hello@r6strats.com [to confirm] or use the contact form with the topic set to Buying. Tell us:
- the email address on your account
- which creator you bought from and roughly when
- what's wrong, if something is
We'll reply by email.
How refunds are paid
We refund to the card or account you paid with, within 14 days of agreeing the refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
What happens to your access
- A full refund ends your access to that creator's catalogue.
- A partial refund for a fault keeps your access.
If you bought from more than one creator, only the one you were refunded for is affected.
